London Point


London Point is a permanent standing MARDET with a minimum size of regiment.


Officer in Charge, London Point: The billet is appointed by and serves at the leisure of the Commandant of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps and has a minimum rank of Lieutenant Colonel, but no higher than Brigadier General. The duties of this billet include but are not limited to;

  1. Attending to the day-to-day business of the Regiment,
  2. Contact the current members of the Regiment and coordinate with the proper RMN personnel to determine any time-in-grade promotions, awards, etc… that members may have earned,
  3. Coordinate with COMFORCECOM to place marines that wish to transfer either with other active units or chapters in their area or start Assault Shuttles in areas where no chapters exist.

Regimental Sergeant Major: The Regimental Sergeant Major is to be appointed by and serves at the leisure of the Officer in Charge, London Point and has a rank of Regimental Sergeant Major. The Regimental Sergeant Major has the following duties, but shall not be limited to;

  1. Assisting the Officer in Charge with the day-to-day business of the Regiment.

The Officer in Charge composes a monthly report detailing awards, promotions, transfers in and out, etc… and sends that report directly to the Commandant Royal Manticoran Marine Corps no later than the 5th of each month. A courtesy copy is also be sent to COMFORCECOM.
